Wine Time Redesign

This is the project I was looking forward to the most. The Packaging project. I think however, since I been looking so forward to this I have way too many ideas and I feel a bit scrambled right now.

1. Turning Leaf

Location: California

Brand: Turning Leaf just released the new launch Refresh. It is a lighter taste than all their other wines with a little fizz and a bit more refreshing. It comes in three flavors, Moscato, Red Moscato, and Crisp White.

My Direction: I wanted to take it to a more natural and organic direction. This was something new for them, and they kept expressing to use natural fruits to apply with the wine, so I the first thing I thought of was wood. I was browsing online and came upon this website. There it was.

 2. Ghost Block

Location: Napa Valley

Brand: This is a well respected wine. According to most sites, they sell out within weeks after being release. Last year The Tasting Room Napa Wine Co. sold their entire 2008 vintage in just two weeks. This brand was released September 1st 2012, I hope I can still find this in stores (I need to take a picture of the back!) The prices of these wine range from $100+. I haven't found any cheaper... it must be good!

"Quite a beautiful Cabernet, showing Oakville character of black currants and cedar and profoundly fine tannins, as well as a great depth of flavor and ageworthiness. Made from 100% Cabernet, it’s lush and dramatic now, and should easily develop over the next 6–10 years."- 98 Points Wine Enthusiast

My Direction: I was jumping on an entirely new road here. I wanted to make is illustrative and give it a little more life than it has now. This is very elegant and refined, I wanted to go glow in the dark. I got the spray... tested it... and loved it.
I really don't want this to look cheap though. I want to mix it with frost spray, give the display box a window that lets you see the bottle with the ghost. Its a work in progress but I have the building blocks... just need to build it now.

His Walla Walla wines are as badass as they are easy to drink. This Chardonnay is creamy and oaky, yet well-balanced with a touch of green apple.
